The Story
DATED is a true story about what it’s really like to date today.
It’s also a comedy about refusing to fit in, or more simply put, being a bad millennial. Inspired by Megan’s trauma dating again after the end of a long-term relationship, DATED explores two central questions: How do you find love in a generation where there are no rules? And seriously, what the %#$ is going on?
Why don’t people break up with each other anymore? Who really pays more on a date? What do you do when you don’t relate to your own generation? Why do 12 year olds that make 10 second internet videos make more money than heart surgeons? Am I just a negative bitch that should embrace the times? And other casual dinner date fodder.
Each episode is framed up with a question that’s answered from 4 very different millennial points of view. The goal is not to make any one point of view right, but to help people think outside their perspective and give everyone a voice—including you. Because the truth is you’re not alone. The dating world is crazy right now. And we could all use a good laugh. So watch, enjoy, and then head on over to our DISCUSS page to share your thoughts on each episode.
The Creators

Megan Dizon – Rory / Haely White – Quinn
We used to be struggling actors. We took every acting class under the sun, drove to shady auditions in the valley, worked as party princesses to pay rent, avoided talking about our careers at Thanksgiving… you’ve seen La La Land, right?
After one too many auditions for Bikini Girl #5, we decided we could write better parts for ourselves and create our own content. So we studied comedy/screenwriting and created original comedy shorts that have been featured on Funny or Die, Hello Giggles, and TV Guide with over 2 million + views across channels.
In a generation where comedy’s turned snarky and dark, our goal is to create content that’s relatable and uplifting in a time when people need it most. DATED is our first big project so enjoy PLEASE WATCH WE HAVE BILLS TO PAY.
The Cast + Crew

Megan Dizon
“Hello Giggles, Funny or Die”
As a trained actress and writer, Megan shot to fame as a Latino child sized hand model. Her work has been splashed all over the Latin glossies and airwaves yet despite her international acclaim, Megan’s dream is to write and act in relatable, feel good stories that CHANGE THE WORLD. Okay fine, pay her bills. (See above.)

Haely White
“Hello Giggles, Funny or Die”
After her dreams of being a Rockette didn’t pan out, Haely settled for being a writer, actor and avid content creator. She’s a slashy—bouncing between both sides of the camera lending her skills to YouTube viral videos and successful ad campaigns for Axe, Belkin, Microsoft, Mattel, Target, and more. DATED is her second baby of 2016 and was definitely more work than making a human.

Rob Burnett
“The Mindy Project, The Office”
Rob has crazy eyes, a kind heart & a lot of patience. Really, we’re a strange cast. In all seriousness, Rob only has crazy eyes when he’s very excited about an idea. Which is often. As an established television comedy editor, he’s worked on niche, indie projects you’ve never heard of like The Office and The Mindy Project. He’s directing an episode of The Mindy Project this season, so stay tuned!

Charlie Morgan Patton
“iCarly, The Kaos Brief”
Charlie would love to work on a 1-hour dramedy that you could binge the heck out of, but for now she’ll settle for a low-paying but highly-rewarding project like ours. As a Texas native, we never saw her do anything stereotypically Southern, and for that we were disappointed. Luckily, she is a fantastic actress and all-around joy to be around. Keep an eye out for her starring role in the upcoming horror flick, The Kaos Brief.

Will McMahon
“Days of Our Lives, Hand of God”
Will hails from Pittsburgh, PA, THE CITY OF CHAMPIONS (his words, not ours) and got into acting because of his chrometophobia. For those of you that don’t know, it’s a fear of money. You’re probably thinking, That makes no sense, actors are rich! No, no, those are movie stars. So despite a lot of great acting roles, Will’s chrometophobia is under control. Will has no idea what’s next, but whatever it is he’s a doctor, he’s from the South, and he’s down.

Scott Draper
“The Mindy Project, Playing House”
This introvert/night owl was destined to be a comedy editing star. Scott got his start as an alligator wrestler and commercial producer/director at an ABC affiliate in Florida, and soon shot to fame editing reality TV and half-hour comedy. And most of those statements are true. A true triple threat, he recently sold a series he co-created called Mapping The Music, which he is currently writing, editing and producing. Insert joke.
